| It is essential when tramping to have the right gear. The
wrong gear in terms of clothing, wet weather, food, safety, first aid and
soon will compromise your safety and possibly those with whom you are tramping.
Below is a list of gear categorised by Essential, Winter,
Alpine, Optional and Tenting/no potable
water.
Anyone tramping with us must have all the listed Essential gear plus the
Winter, Alpine or Tenting/No Potable Water variants depending upon the nature
of the tramp or a viable alternative discussed with the tramp leader before
leaving. We do have some limited gear we can lend people.
